Comedy of Errors

Couple of days back at around 230 AM I stepped out of the house in Chennai to get some medicine for my Son who had stomach ache. While I was stepping out the Security personnel at the gate were sleeping. As they heard me coming out, they suddenly got up and opened the gate.

Every since this incident took place, they are guilty and are scared that I might relieve them of their duties. So, every morning and evening when I cross them, they get up and salute me out of fear. Seeing that, others who do not know me are thinking that I am a VVIP!!!!

Actually it is awkward to see them salute me as I am not used to that, but enjoying the cheap thrill of giving false impression to others around that I am a VVIP !!!!!

Jackie Chan in Chennai!!

On July 8, 2015 I had a near death accident and escaped due to divine power and intervention. The auto in which I was travelling with my sons got hit by a car from behind at high speed and I was thrown out of the auto to the main road with high traffic. I landed on my back and held my head high and looked around to see a car wheel next to be head stopping with screeching sound. A second later the car wheel would have run over my head.

With shock my kids jumped out of the auto looking for me. Luckily nothing happened to them. Crowd surrounded us and were scolding the lady driver who was driving the car. I had to intervene and tell them that I am not going to complain but the auto damages can be handled in an amicable way with auto driver. I can see the lady driver was also shaken very badly.

Felt like Jackie Chan jumping off the Auto and flying into the air!!! But do not want to repeat it !!!!

Arunachala and Machu Picchu - Indian Civilization and Inca Civilization similarity.

Today I visited one of our long term friends in Bangalore who used to stay in Tulsa, OK. They were so kind to treat us the same way we were treated back in Tulsa. It was nice catching up with them. I learnt one important fact from them. They showed us a small statue that they got from Machu Pichu and explained us an astonishing fact that was told by Ramana Maharishi.
Ramana Maharshi was certain that Arunachala was the top of the spiritual axis of the Earth, and hence strongly felt that there must be another mountain corresponding to Arunachala at the exact location on the opposite side of the globe on the corresponding pole of the axis. Machu Picchu is the closest known energy center-mountain that resonates great spiritual power. The ancient Inca (Quechua) site of Machu Picchu in Peru is at the other end of the axis passing though Arunachala and the center of the Earth.
The global coordinates for Tiruvannamalai and Machu Picchu are as follows:
Tiruvannamalai: 12n13, 79e04; &
Machu Picchu: 13s07, 72w34
The geographical coordinates of Machu Picchu are not exactly opposite to those of Arunachala, but it would be unreasonable to expect it to be exact since the earth is not a precise sphere. There are striking similarities between ancient Inca beliefs and Indian beliefs. The Incas worshipped Machu Picchu as the manifestation of the Divine Mother Goddess of the Universe. They referred to Her as ‘Paachamama’, a name that bears a striking similarity to the name ‘Pachaiamman’ used as another name for Parvathi in South India. The name Machu Picchu came from the term Machu - Ma, Picchu - Pacchai (Green) - Mother Earth who is green and provide food for all.

கட்டிக்கோ ஒட்டிக்கோ வேஷ்டி - A new marketing slogan!!

The younger generation south indian kids have difficulty in holding Veshti in their hips. But instead of letting them compromise on the culture, companies such as Ramraj, Udayam etc are coming up with veshtis with velcro and pockets so that one can simply wrap it around and stick it. That is exactly what the title means - Wrap it and stick it!!!
